I lived in Tucson Arizona for 12 years, where I took my Usui Reiki
training. Over a 5 year span, I did hundreds of Usui Reiki
Healings. While incorporating the 5 Usui Reiki symbols
throughout the session, I really learned to trust my intuition.
Then I went to Sedona Arizona to “The Peace Place.” Here I
retook my Usui Reiki classes with Laurelle Gaia. I also decided to
take Karuna Reiki. Karuna Reiki gave me so many more tools
for my Reiki toolbox. Having more symbols can be likened to a
repair person that is able to repair a wider range of problems and
do it more quickly. Karuna Reiki® brings in healing energies that
are noticeably stronger and able to more quickly heal, a wider
range of difficulties.
Karuna Reiki provided me with 12 additional symbols for specific
issues, making me a Reiki Specialist. I now had specific
symbols for specific issues such as past life issues, child or sexual
abuse, dispelling psychic attack, healing the shadow self,
addictions, relationship issues, clearing a room, reducing pain, one
to ground, to bring peace, communication, or learning abilities just
to name a few. Every day of my life, I use the Reiki symbols.
Symbols are powerful, its how our subconscious mind speaks to
us. The Karuna symbols can be used just like Usui Reiki symbols
when giving Reiki treatments. I even warded off a black magician
with the Reiki symbols, as I was protecting my home and myself.
Karuna Reiki is a higher vibrational system than Usui Reiki.
When taking the Karuna Reiki® Master training,
one becomes both a practitioner,
able to use the energies for healing, as well as a
Master, certified to teach others.
Karuna means compassionate action of all enlightened
beings who are working together to end suffering on earth. They
continually send an unlimited amount of healing energy and
guidance to us. As you develop Karuna in yourself, not only are
you helping others, but you also become more receptive to the
Karuna that is being sent by all enlightened beings. This includes
those enlightened ones who are physically present as well as those
in spirit. It is the next step after Reiki Master and is complete
with two levels, two attunements, four master symbols, and eight
treatment symbols. Most students find it more powerful than Usui
Reiki! Those who receive the attunements, report experiences
with their guides, angels, and higher self.
Kuan Yin is the mother in Buddhism as Mother Mary is in Catholicism. She is one of four great Bodhisattvas or enlightened beings that watch over the earth. She is ready to help all those
who pray to her or attune to her healing energies, which
continually emanate from her. Portrayed as standing on a lotus
blossom and floating in the sky, her purity remains unstained by
the ignorance and confusion of the world, even as she reaches out
to help. Many who have taken Karuna Reiki® have had visions of
Kuan Yin and other enlightened beings.
Both levels of Karuna Reiki® and both attunements will be given in one day with instruction and practice on the use of all twelve symbols. You will be able to teach Karuna Reiki® after taking this class.
A Reiki meditation for awareness of and heal the Shadow Self. You will learn chanting and toning with Karuna Reiki® and crystal singing bowls.
A certificate and a 45-page manual is included with in-depth
descriptions of each symbol and each attunement process.
You will also be offered the opportunity to become a “Registered
Karuna Reiki® Master” with the “International Center for Reiki Training. www.reiki.org William Rand.” You will then be able to use their manuals and your student certificates will come from the Center.
